Drake might be onto something: Travis Scott could very well have your favorite rapper wiped down.
Right now, one of the hottest debates in hip-hop is the Big three conversation. While most people have Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole on that list, some argue that Future or Travis Scott should be included as well. While I’m not one of those people, I can definitely understand why some make that case. And with a shocking new piece of information about Scott just dropping, I might even find myself reconsidering.
Travis Scott’s Circus Maximus Tour has now claimed the title of the highest-grossing solo rap tour of all time. Think about all your favorite rapper’s tours—it’s surpassed them all, even beating the earnings of Astroworld. Here are some of the standout highlights:
The Circus Maximus Tour has sold over 1.7 million tickets, raking in a total revenue of $209.3 million. For comparison, the Astroworld Tour sold 808,000 tickets. The key difference, however, is that Travis Scott performed significantly more shows this time—76, compared to 55 on the Astroworld Tour.

Travis Scott has been making all the right moves since blowing up. He’s stayed out of pointless beefs, chosen his collaborations wisely, brought the right energy on tours, and, of course, has a baby with Kylie Jenner. I knew he was the man when his 2011 album Rodeo outsold several of his newer releases. We might need to have a serious conversation soon.
How do you feel about Travis Scott’s tour numbers?
