This might be Drake’s most important album release ever.
Drake seems to have more problems than a single mother in the hood right now. Not only is he dealing with backstabbing from people around him, but he’s also taking legal action against his record label and likely coming to terms with the fact that he’s nearing 40. However, his biggest challenge might be figuring out how to plot a successful comeback.
One of the key things Drake is relying on is his upcoming collaboration album with PARTYNEXTDOOR, although updates on it have been sparse, aside from occasional mentions. Today, we got another hint that it might be arriving soon.
In the comments of an Instagram post by OVO Noel, Drake wrote, “DROP THE ALBUM.” This suggests the project is likely finished and sitting on someone’s desk at the label. Well, it’s time to bring it out already!

At this point, I’m pretty confident that any project Drake releases will perform well. That said, I wish his first project after a beef would be a hard-hitting rap album. Do I expect Drake to rap on this forthcoming, untitled collaboration with PARTYNEXTDOOR? Absolutely, but I think it would be a missed opportunity if the album doesn’t lean heavily into R&B.
Are you excited about Drake’s joint project with PARTYNEXTDOOR?
