Drake Refuses to Back Down After Kendrick Lamar Feud: “Beef Is Alive, I Never Died”

Drake refuses to go away.

Drake is making it clear—he’s not done addressing his feud with Kendrick Lamar. During a recent stop on his Anita Max Tour in Australia, the rapper altered the lyrics of his song “Knife Talk,” adding, “Beef is alive, spoiler alert, I never died.”

It’s no secret that 2024 wasn’t Drake’s best year. He kicked things off strong with two scathing diss tracks, “Push Ups” and “Family Matters,” aimed at Kendrick. But things quickly spiraled after Lamar dropped “Not Like Us,” a track that not only dominated the charts but also became a cultural phenomenon. Fast forward to 2025, and the damage is still lingering—just last week, “Not Like Us” won multiple Grammys and was performed in front of millions at the Super Bowl, further cementing Kendrick’s victory.

Drake Has Cryptic Message For His Naysayers At Recent Show

Drake now finds himself facing more than just Kendrick—he’s up against the entire hip-hop world. From the West Coast to rap purists and even mainstream celebrities, the industry has largely rallied behind Lamar. At this point, regaining favor and making a comeback feels like an uphill battle.

Still, if anyone could stage a comeback from this level of humiliation, it might just be Drake. The question is: Can he find a way to flip the narrative, or is this beef the one battle he simply can’t win?
