Hehe, see what I did there? Seriously though, Rema dropped his new single on April 11th, and it is so ridiculously smooth that it feels like he’s singing right to you.
The track is about a woman so beautiful, so special, that everyone wants her. There is just something about her that makes everyone else in the vicinity attracted to her presence. Rema goes into detail about the way the woman appears and presents herself, and the things that make him so drawn to her. He sings with intensity and sensuality, leaving listeners hanging onto every word he says and making you actually believe him.
“Bout U” blends Afrobeats with R&B and rock influences. The song features a gorgeous, flowy guitar that is loud and apparent, but doesn’t disrupt or take away from the seductive aspects of the track. Everything about this song is buttery, feel-good, and very easy on the ears. I’d recommend adding this single to your sensual R&B playlist to switch things up a bit.
