Things are getting steamy on the track.

Duckwrth’s latest album, All American F*ckboy, was released on April 2nd, and pretty much the entire album made it into my daily rotation. The tracklist comes in three separate parts or ‘chapters’ (I mentioned this in my review for the track “I’m Really Changing”), telling a story of a struggling relationship and a sneaky link. The ‘sneaky link’ part is where this track comes in.

“Ken Doll” appears in chapter one of the album, following Duckwrth dodging a phone conversation with his partner to have a conversation with another woman. While he had told his girl he couldn’t meet up that day, he made time for the other girl. This track gives the dirty details of Duckwrth’s sexual rendezvous with his situationship.

The track is slow, hot, and heavy. Duckwrth and Tanerelle describe an act of passion, obsession, and ecstasy, with Duckwrth describing his lover’s body and movements. Everything she does is perfect in the moment, and he is willing to do anything to make her feel good. She is the only thing on his mind—until the end of the song, that is.

The track ends with the artist coming to the realization of what he’s just done and fleeing. It ends so quickly, making you feel like you have to listen to the next track on the album to find out what happens next. “Ken Doll” is steamy, flirty, and feel-good, making it a great track for any playlist lacking a little passion.
