PARTYNEXTDOOR & Drake’s “$OME $EXY $ONGS 4 U” Reaches Platinum Status

Who’s running this shhhhh!

Drake is channeling his inner Geno Smith these days: “They tried to write me off, but I didn’t write back.” The Toronto superstar is back in dominant form, riding high off the massive success of “NOKIA,” his standout track from the collaborative album $OME $EXY $ONGS 4 U with PARTYNEXTDOOR.

The project has officially sold over one million copies, making it eligible for platinum certification—no small feat in today’s streaming era. What’s even more impressive is that Drake and PARTYNEXTDOOR kept major features to a minimum and still delivered a chart-topping experience.

According to Chart Data, “NOKIA” is now the best-selling song of 2025, reaffirming Drake’s ability to dominate the charts even after his public back-and-forth with Kendrick Lamar and Universal Records. While the dust from the rap beef continues to settle, Drake is focused on what’s next—he recently teased his upcoming album, promising that it slaps.

One thing’s clear: If you thought Drake was on the decline, you might want to reconsider. The man doesn’t miss.
