Drake dominates the chart with THREE albums in the top 5.
TOP 5
5. Take Care – Drake (19K)

Drake’s Take Care from 2011 still hits different. Why? I honestly couldn’t tell you. What I can say is I was cruising around Arizona yesterday blasting “The Motto,” and I caught a whole new appreciation for it—so yeah, maybe I helped those streams climb. And Lil Wayne’s verse? Absolutely wild. Like… what do you mean you swam to her booty?
4. BigxthaPlug – I Hope You’re Happy (20K)

I feel a little strange saying this, but I Hope You’re Happy might be my album of the year so far. Out of all the new hip-hop releases, it’s the one I keep spinning the most. After my workout today, I even threw on “Hell At Night.” It’s one thing to chase trends, like so many rappers are doing, but it’s another to create music that feels timeless—and I genuinely think this album is packed with tracks that will last.
3. NBA YoungBoy – MASA (Make America Slime Again) (22K)

I love that NBA YoungBoy’s MASA album is holding steady on the Billboard charts, especially after what I thought were disappointing first-week sales. I’ll admit, I haven’t really gone back to the project myself, but I keep hearing that people are vibing with “Shot Callin” lately. Word is, it’s been climbing the charts too.
2. $ome $exy $ongs 4 U – Drake & PARTYNEXTDOOR (22K)

WTF! This album is ridiculously unkillable. With the remix of “Somebody Loves Me” out and “NOKIA” announced as the main track for WWE’s Wrestlepalooza—not to mention it’s Billboard’s top rap track—it makes sense why this album is still in heavy rotation. But I swear, I never hear anyone give PND credit or even mention the other songs. Am I buggin’?
1. The Last Wun – Gunna (27k)

Gunna still reigns supreme—the same guy they claimed was blackballed and tried to label a snitch. Beyond the music being solid, I feel like Gunna’s been moving like a real one, and that energy resonates with people. When the artist comes across as a genuinely good dude, you can’t help but want to support the music even more. That’s my theory on why this album is doing so well. I also think it helps that he packed it with a massive 25 tracks.
