Doja Cat’s new album “Vie” drops Friday, and the rollout has been full of surprises leading up to its release.

Doja Cat is keeping fans on their toes as the countdown to her new album Vie continues. Set to release on September 26, the project has been teased in unique ways, from single drops to eye-catching visuals. Each reveal has added to the curiosity about what the full record will sound like.

The rollout started on August 21 with “Jealous Type,” a bright, dance-ready track with an unmistakable ’80s influence. Then came her fiery VMAs performance on September 7, which had fans buzzing—plus the now-viral moment of Doja eating her MAC lipstick on the red carpet. On September 19, she kept the energy going by unveiling Vie’s 15-song tracklist through Instagram.

Most recently, Doja shared the official album cover. The striking image shows her in a wedding-like gown with a bold yellow parachute tangled in a tree. In her post, she broke down the symbolism, calling the parachute a sign of curiosity and adventure, and the tree a representation of life and growth.

With each reveal, anticipation for Vie only grows stronger. While the sound of the album remains a mystery, Doja has made it clear this project will be both bold and layered, inside and out.
