DDG’s “moo” Sells 4.4K Units in First Week

Does anyone know what “moo” stands for?

DDG’s new album moo has officially sold 4.4K units in the U.S. during its first week, marking his second full-length release this year. The project arrives just a few months after Blame The Chat, showing that DDG is still moving at a rapid creative pace. However, while the output remains consistent, the sales reflect a noticeable drop from his earlier 2025 effort.

moo features an impressive lineup of guest artists, including Gunna, BIA, and PlaqueboyMax, helping DDG maintain his signature balance between street-savvy lyricism and melodic flows. The standout record, “no smoke” featuring Gunna, currently leads in streams, followed closely by “no dreads” with PlaqueboyMax.

While Blame The Chat debuted at #131 with 10K units sold, moo arrives with less commercial impact. Still, it’s been a turbulent year for music sales across the board — streaming competition is fierce, and algorithms haven’t been kind to artists without major viral moments.

Even so, DDG’s work ethic and consistency remain undeniable. Whether he’s behind the mic, on YouTube, or exploring other ventures, he’s proven to be one of the hardest-working artists in his lane.
