For the first time in months, Drake has officially disappeared from the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
There are no Drake songs charting on the Billboard Hot 100 this week for the first time since February. The artist had previously been on the charts for 35 consecutive weeks, consistently holding down spots with hits like “Nokia” and “Which One” featuring Central Cee.
Throughout spring and summer, Drake’s been a steady presence on the charts, delivering track after track that dominated playlists and airwaves. But even for an artist as prolific as him, a moment of quiet was bound to come eventually.
Fans shouldn’t worry, though. If history tells us anything, Drake’s hiatus from the charts won’t last long. Whether it’s a surprise drop, a feature, or a viral verse, the Toronto legend always finds his way back to the top.
