Drake Dominates as Rap’s Best-Selling Albums of the Week Revealed

A mix of chart-toppers, cult favorites, and timeless classics fuels another stacked week in rap album sales.

This week’s rap album sales come in cold and calculated, revealing a predictable mix of nostalgia, dominance, and pure replay value from hip-hop’s usual heavy-hitters. At the top, Drake once again refuses to move, with Take Care pulling 21,000 units — an absurd achievement for a decade-old album that simply won’t die. Right behind him, Cardi B’s AM I THE DRAMA? pushes 20,000 units, proving she’s still commanding attention whether people like it or not.

Tyler, The Creator’s CHROMAKOPIA locks in the #3 position with 19,000 sold, riding steady fan momentum. Kendrick Lamar’s GNX and PARTYNEXTDOOR & Drake’s Some Sexy Songs 4 U follow with 17,000-unit weeks.

Further down the list, albums like I Hope You’re Happy, MASA, and Rebel show the scattered preferences of rap listeners today. Meanwhile, certified classics — Curtain Call, good kid, m.A.A.d city, and Graduation — continue to move numbers like they’re immune to time. Gunna’s The Last Wun and Playboi Carti’s MUSIC add 14,000 units each.

Closing out the chart, Drake resurfaces yet again with Views, Certified Lover Boy, and For All The Dogs, while Lil Baby’s My Turn keeps its multi-year streak alive with 12,000 sold.

This week’s chart confirms a straightforward fact: Timeless music will always reign supreme.
