Travis Scott’s Billboard Streak Ends After a Decade

Travis Scott’s album releases have been monumental.

For the first time in over ten years, there are zero Travis Scott albums charting on the Billboard 200. That streak dated all the way back to September 2015, when Rodeo first hit the charts. Since then, Travis had maintained an uninterrupted presence, a rare level of consistency in an era defined by fast turnover and short attention spans.

Still, it would be a mistake to read this moment as a decline. If anything, Travis Scott’s position in the culture feels stronger than ever. He continues to sell out arenas across the globe, rack up massive streaming numbers, and appear on nearly every major rapper’s release cycle. Few artists command that level of demand without actively dropping new solo music.

That dominance has been built on an incredible run of projects. From Rodeo to Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight, ASTROWORLD, UTOPIA, Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho, JACKBOYS, and JACKBOYS 2, Travis has consistently delivered albums that feel like events, shaping both sound and spectacle.

So while the Billboard streak may have paused, the legacy hasn’t. Once Travis Scott returns with a new album, expect a fresh run to begin immediately—and don’t be surprised if it lasts another decade.
