Nipsey Hussle & Bino Rideaux Link Up on “Reckless”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Nobody is rapping the way Nipsey Hussle used to anymore.

Do you know something I find really interesting? When artists like Biggie, Pac, and Juice WRLD passed, we were immediately flooded with posthumous releases. That hasn’t quite been the case with Nipsey Hussle. We’ve gotten features here and there, but we haven’t been bombarded with albums or full projects from him. That said, Bino Rideaux is about to drop a collaboration album with Nip, and fans will likely flock to it since there hasn’t been much content.

The first single from the project, “Reckless,” hit streaming services this past weekend, and I’m not going to lie: I rock with this track a lot. Nipsey delivers a hungry chorus and verse, talking about living life in the fast lane. Throughout his verse, he experiments with different flows while keeping the gritty delivery we all love. Bino adds melodic flair, contributing thoughtful bars focused on loyalty. Both styles fit perfectly over the dramatic, hard-hitting production.

What would the game look like if Nipsey Hussle were still alive? If I were to guess, a lot more rappers would have wedgies.
