Buddy and FAUCET Turn Up the Energy With “House Jam”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Buddy and FAUCET showcase natural chemistry on “House Jam.”

MY BUDDY, Jerry Jones Buddy, continues his steady run of polished releases with “House Jam,” a collaboration with FAUCET that leans fully into feel-good energy. Known for blending West Coast cool with rhythmic versatility, Buddy uses this track to showcase his knack for crafting club music that feels effortless yet intentional. With FAUCET in the mix, the record gains an extra layer of personality, setting the stage for a dynamic back-and-forth.

The production on “House Jam” is built around a bouncy, dance-ready foundation that feels tailor-made for quirky clubs that sell Zimas and random IPAs. By the way, I’ve gotten wasted in many of these venues.

Vocally, Buddy and FAUCET trade lines with a smooth, almost conversational chemistry. Their flows glide across the instrumental with a relaxed confidence, blending melodic hooks with slick rap cadences. Lyrically, the focus stays on connection and momentum, capturing the energy of meeting someone in a lively setting and letting the night evolve from there.

By the end, “House Jam” feels like a soundtrack to a night that wasn’t supposed to get that interesting but somehow did. BTW: I’ve gotten wasted plenty of times on these kinds of nights.
