Drake Confirms “ICEMAN” Is Turned In On Instagram

Drake releasing an album called “ICEMAN” in the summer is very on brand.

Drake may have finally offered fans the clearest update yet on ICEMAN. Earlier today, he posted an Instagram Story showing a screenshot of a text that read, “Its in,” alongside a photo of what looked like an unidentified object trapped inside a block of ice.

Most fans are taking the message as confirmation that ICEMAN has officially been turned in. If true, that would mean the album is finished and potentially much closer to release than many expected. It would also mark one of the few direct updates Drake himself has given regarding the project, since much of the conversation around ICEMAN has strangely come from everyone else.

For over a year now, personalities like Akademiks, Mal, and various internet insiders have kept the album rumors alive. In the last week alone, the chatter intensified after a controlled explosion in Toronto was reportedly tied to a “PROJECT BOT” shoot, which many believe connects to the album rollout. There was also a strange back-and-forth online involving Akademiks and Anthony Fantano about whether the project could arrive within hours.

The odd part is that Drake still has not launched what most people would call a traditional album campaign. There is no confirmed release date, no official tracklist, and no certainty on what songs will actually make the final cut. “What Did I Miss?” performed extremely well, but records like “WHICH ONE” still feel like loose pieces rather than clear puzzle parts.

That uncertainty has made the rollout feel more mysterious than exciting at times. Then again, Drake knows exactly how to keep people watching. Every vague post becomes news, every breadcrumb becomes a headline, and every silence creates more demand.

If “Its in” truly means the album has been submitted, then the waiting stage may finally be ending. But with Drake, fans know better than to celebrate until the music is actually sitting in their libraries. Until then, ICEMAN remains frozen somewhere between rumor and release.
