NAV’s s**t-talking on this track is at All-Madden levels.
There aren’t many artists better at talking s**t than NAV, and on “CURB,” he does it effortlessly. Over bass-booming production built for late-night chilling, NAV comes across as the ultimate playa who doesn’t sweat floozies, and if he does by accident, he probably has an expensive cloth nearby to wipe it off. The record thrives on confidence, attitude, and carefree energy.
What I enjoy about the track is how NAV surfs on the beat, showing a level of confidence that can only be achieved if you have your student loans paid off, millions in the bank, and bad b*tches on speed dial. I’m sure NAV has at least 2/3 accomplished.
All in all, “CURB” is a disrespectful, slick track that flows extremely well and gives NAV fans exactly what they came for. He might back…
