Top 5 Albums on the Billboard 200 This Week (05/31): Drake, Michael Jackson, Morgan Wallen & More

Drake, Michael Jackson, and country stars dominate another fascinating week on the Billboard 200.

5. 5. Michael Jackson – Thriller (64K Units)

Some albums never age, and Thriller is the ultimate example.

Following the success of the “MICHAEL” biopic, Michael Jackson’s legendary album climbs to No. 5 with 64,000 units sold, tying its highest Billboard 200 position of this century. It’s encouraging to see younger generations discovering classics like “Billie Jean,” “Beat It,” and “Human Nature” naturally. Decades later, ’Thriller’ remains the gold standard for what a pop album can be. The government should force every American to listen to it or jail time.

4. Morgan Wallen – I’m The Problem (80K Units)

At this point, Morgan Wallen’s staying power deserves its own award.

A year after release, I’m The Problem continues to return to the top tier of the Billboard 200, bringing its lifetime total to nearly six million units. While other major releases come and go, Wallen’s project continues to stick around like a country music boomerang.

3. Noah Kahan – The Great Divide (85K Units)

Noah Kahan’s The Great Divide continues its remarkable run, moving another 85,000 units this week.

The album is now approaching platinum territory and has quietly become one of the year’s most successful releases. The impressive part is that this isn’t solely a sales story. The project continues to generate strong streaming numbers, proving its appeal extends far beyond dedicated fans.

2. Ella Langley – Dandelion (93K Units)

Ella Langley continues her breakout year with Dandelion, which climbs to No. 2. The album has now moved 781,000 units and remains one of country music’s biggest success stories of 2026.

Much of the attention has gone to “Choosing Texas,” which has a legitimate case for Song of the Year. However, tracks like “Be Her” and “Loving Life Again” have helped the album maintain impressive longevity beyond its biggest hit.

1. Drake – ICEMAN (225K Units)

Drake remains untouchable this week as ICEMAN secures a second consecutive week at No. 1 with 225,000 units moved. The project has already accumulated 688,000 units since release, and its momentum shows no signs of slowing down.

What’s most impressive is how listeners continue to discover new favorites from the album. While major tracks initially drove attention, songs like “Plot Twist” are now building their own fanbases. Add in the brewing tension between Drake and Jay-Z, sparked by a few eyebrow-raising bars on the project, and people suddenly have another reason to keep revisiting the album.
