Drake’s “ICEMAN” Projected for Fourth Week at No. 1

This will likely be the last week “ICEMAN” rules the charts.

Drake’s ICEMAN is projected to spend a fourth consecutive week at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 134,000 units earned, according to Hits Daily Double. If the projection holds, it will officially become the longest-running No. 1 album released in 2026.

While ICEMAN isn’t fully in my rotation anymore, I can’t ignore what it’s accomplished. Since its release, no rap album has really stepped up and challenged it. That’s impressive considering how quickly albums tend to disappear from conversations these days.

With Olivia Rodrigo’s new project expected to overtake it next week, this will likely be Drake’s final week at No. 1 with an album that has comfortably exceeded expectations. Still, four weeks atop the chart, over one million units sold, and a collection of historic chart records make ICEMAN one of the biggest success stories of the year.

Now the question becomes: does Drake shift his focus to his other upcoming projects, particularly MAID TO HONOUR? I’m hearing a bunch of critics rave about that album.
