PlaqueBoyMax Pushes Viral Chaos With “Thong Song”

Rating: 2 out of 5.

PlaqueBoyMax clearly doesn’t give a f**k.

PlaqueBoyMax’s presence in hip-hop continues to grow quickly. He’s not only linking up with major artists for collaborations and interviews but is also releasing a steady stream of music himself. His latest track, “Thong Song,” is another step in that direction.

Respectfully, “Thong Song” is so bad that it circles back into being interesting. The production is chaotic and low-quality in a way that feels like it would sound better blasting out of a GameBoy speaker than anything else.

PlaqueBoyMax’s performance doesn’t help smooth things out. His vocals are exaggerated to the point of irritation, especially when he repeatedly emphasizes the word “thong” in a drawn-out, almost comedic way.

Lyrically, the song revolves around inviting women over wearing nothing but a thong. If they don’t get arrested on their way to his house, I would be very shocked.

While I can easily see it picking up traction on TikTok, it’s not something I’d voluntarily run back to. Let the YNs have fun, though!
