Future is about to provide us with a toxic summer.
For months, Future has been hinting that a new album was on the way. Now, it’s official.
On Monday, the rap icon announced THE REAL ME, his upcoming 10th solo album. The reveal arrived through a coordinated campaign featuring billboards in major cities such as Toronto, Los Angeles, Miami, and New York City. The visuals featured a rugged graffiti-style design, making it clear that Future wanted fans paying attention.
Spotify also joined the rollout by launching a pre-save link, while Future shared the artwork across social media before posting the album title directly on X.
The announcement follows a busy and successful year for Pluto. His appearance on Drake’s “Ran To Atlanta” helped squash one of hip-hop’s biggest feuds, while his collaboration with Tyla, “GAME TIME,” became part of the World Cup opening ceremony. Few artists can claim they’ve performed in front of an audience that large.
The album will follow MIXTAPE PLUTO, a project that showcased tracks like “LIL DEMON” and “TEFLON DON.” While fans still don’t have a release date, the rollout feels too aggressive to suggest a long wait.
If Future is truly giving us THE REAL ME, expectations are about to get very high.
