5. Believer
This song may be short, but it gets straight to the point.
Chlöe sings about meeting someone new and instantly feeling a connection. She doesn’t know everything about them yet, but she knows enough to want more. There’s chemistry, attraction, and the feeling that something exciting could develop if both people are willing to lean into it.
What I really like here is the confidence. Chlöe isn’t sitting around wondering if this person likes her. She already knows she’s going to leave an impression. If they aren’t a believer yet, they will be soon enough.
4. Mama’s Boy
This track is for everybody who’s already given way too many chances.
The relationship is over. You’ve tried. You’ve forgiven. You’ve listened to the apologies. And now you’re done.
Meanwhile, the other person still can’t seem to let go. They’re calling, texting, apologizing, and doing everything they can to get another chance. Chlöe, however, has already moved on emotionally. She’s tired of the excuses and tired of being painted as the villain.
The title adds a little extra bite to the track, as she tells him to go cry to his mama about it because she’s not interested anymore. It’s sharp, funny, and packed with attitude.
3. Better Than She Can
The confidence on this track is through the roof, and I loved every second of it.
Chlöe knows exactly what she brings to the table, which is why she’s completely confused about why her man is entertaining anybody else. In her eyes, there isn’t any competition. Whatever they’re offering, she can do it better.
What makes the song work is that the confidence never feels forced. It feels natural, playful, and self assured. Instead of sounding bitter, Chlöe sounds amused that she’s even having to make the argument in the first place. It’s bold, catchy, and one of the album’s most entertaining moments.
2. World On Fire
This song is all about having that one person who makes everything else fade into the background.
Life can be stressful. The world can feel chaotic. Everything can seem like it’s falling apart around you. But when you’re with that person, none of it matters for a little while. They’re your safe place, your comfort zone, and the one person who helps you tune out all the noise.
Chlöe captures that feeling beautifully here. The track feels warm, intimate, and romantic, creating the perfect soundtrack for getting lost in a moment with someone you trust completely.
1. Priorities
This track explores the balancing act between love and ambition, and honestly, it’s something a lot of people can probably relate to. Chlöe has a lot happening in her life. She’s chasing goals, making career moves, and trying to build the future she wants. The problem is that sometimes those priorities start getting in the way of her relationships.
Throughout the song, she wrestles with questions that don’t have easy answers. Did she give enough? Did she communicate clearly enough? Is she putting too much energy into work and not enough into the people she cares about? The vulnerability here makes the track stand out, and it shows a softer, more reflective side of Chlöe.

When I first heard Chlöe and Timbaland were dropping a project together, I honestly wasn’t sure what to expect. It wasn’t a pairing that immediately came to mind, but after listening to Resurrection, the chemistry makes a lot of sense.
Chlöe’s smooth vocals, buttery runs, and emotional delivery pair surprisingly well with Timbaland’s playful production style and hip hop influences. Together, they create something that feels fresh while still staying rooted in classic R&B traditions.
At its core, Resurrection is an album about love in all of its forms. We get the excitement of new connections, the comfort of healthy relationships, the challenges that come with maintaining them, and the heartbreak that sometimes follows. There are moments where Chlöe is soft, vulnerable, and hopeful, and others where she’s blunt, frustrated, and completely fed up.
That’s what makes the album work so well. It captures the full cycle of romance. The highs, the lows, the breakups, the reconciliations, and the lessons learned along the way.
Overall, Resurrection is a strong project filled with relatable themes, smooth production, and plenty of personality. No matter what stage of love you’re currently in, there’s probably a song here that will resonate with you.
