Memories
Starting the project with “Memories” was a great choice from Kayze because it immediately sets the emotional tone. For listeners who have been waiting to hear from him since his last project, this track provides a clear look into his current mindset. He reflects on the struggle of running away from his past, while also acknowledging the obstacles and emotions that continue to keep him connected to it. You can feel the frustration and feeling of being stuck throughout the record.
The strongest part of the song is Kayze’s ability to blend vulnerability with an infectious delivery. His catchy flows and melodic singing work together perfectly, creating a track that feels relatable, emotional, and musically engaging.
Change The World
“Change The World” stands out as one of the most relatable moments on the project. Kayze uses the track to talk about growth, correcting past mistakes, and finding someone who can share the journey with him as he continues chasing bigger goals. The idea of wanting a meaningful connection while trying to become a better version of yourself is something anyone can understand.
The song also proves how versatile Kayze can be. With a bouncy instrumental that feels built for movement, he delivers a more relaxed and infectious vocal performance. The catchy melodies and effortless energy make this one of the easiest tracks to replay, giving the project a moment that feels both personal and universal.
Demons (Ft. Donn & Mu’Dogo)
“Demons” is a track built around resilience and the idea of facing whatever stands in your way. Kayze, Donn, and Mu’Dogo use the song to talk about battling personal struggles, confronting fears, and refusing to fold when life puts pressure on you. It’s a simple but powerful message that makes the track easy to connect with.
The highlight of the record is easily the chorus, where Kayze and Mu’Dogo showcase incredible chemistry. Their performances feel sharp, relentless, and almost machine-like in the best way. Combined with Donn’s presence and the hard-hitting production, the song balances bold trap energy with atmospheric moments that add emotional depth.

RGM RATING
⭐⭐⭐
Rating: 3 out of 5.There are so many lessons to be learned from listening to Renaissance.
At its core, the album challenges performative behavior and the desire for outside approval. What do I mean by that? Well, throughout the project, Kayze examines the gap between the identities people showcase online and the realities of who they are behind the scenes. He also dives into his own struggles, from battling personal demons and overcoming adversity to pursuing his goals while navigating the expectations and pressures created by today’s culture.
Musically, Renaissance carries a large-scale sound. The production combines trap elements, dance-ready moments, hypnotic melodies, atmospheric textures, and nice rhythms. The industrial and ethereal elements create a cinematic environment that matches the album’s themes.
Vocally, Kayze continues to show range. Though I wouldn’t say I love his voice, he transitions between direct, passionate raps and more melodic performances that bring a hypnotic quality to the songs. The catchy hooks help balance the deeper messages found throughout the project.
With Renaissance, Kayze delivers a project that feels both personal and conceptual. It represents the final piece of a larger story while showing an artist focused on growth, awareness, and finding authenticity in a world built around appearances.
