Ken Carson Announces “XPERIMENT” Album Release Date for July 3rd

It looks like it might be a very merry Ken Carson summer.

Ken Carson has officially kicked off the rollout for his next project, and he’s doing it in the most Ken Carson way possible.

The rapper recently unveiled a trailer for XPERIMENT, a new album set to arrive on July 3rd. Rather than simply announcing the release date, Carson leaned into a cinematic approach. The teaser shows doctors desperately trying to revive a patient, only for their solution to come in the form of a syringe and a USB stick seemingly loaded with Ken Carson music. The procedure ultimately brings the patient back to life.

It’s a bizarre, sci-fi-leaning concept, but it fits perfectly with the futuristic, rebellious aesthetic he’s built throughout his career.

XPERIMENT will follow last year’s More Chaos, a 22-track project featuring collaborations with Playboi Carti and Destroy Lonely. Songs like “Thx,” “Blakk Rockstar,” and “Trap Jumpin” helped keep Carson firmly at the forefront of the rage movement while continuing to grow his fanbase.

The upcoming XPERIMENT album will also span 22 tracks, signaling another expansive release from the rapper.

Outside of touring and festival appearances, Carson has remained relatively quiet over the past year, which makes this rollout feel especially significant. It marks the beginning of a new era for one of rap’s most distinctive young stars.

Now the biggest question is simple: what exactly has Ken Carson been building in the lab all this time?
