Future’s “The Real Me” Is Projected to Debut at No. 1 With 135K First-Week Units

The Atlanta rapper is on pace to collect yet another Billboard milestone with “The Real Me.”

Future is about to add another trophy to an already crowded shelf. According to early industry projections, The Real Me is expected to debut atop the Billboard 200 with 135,000 first-week units. That would give the Atlanta rapper his 12th No. 1 album, an achievement only a handful of artists can match.

It’s been a fascinating year for Future. He performed during the opening festivities of the FIFA World Cup, reunited with Drake after months of speculation, and appeared on “Ran To Atlanta” from ICEMAN. Those moments alone would’ve made for a successful year.

Instead, Future also found himself in the middle of a growing feud with NBA YoungBoy. The exact cause remains unclear, but the tension has become one of hip-hop’s biggest storylines.

Through all the headlines, Future has stayed focused on what matters most: releasing music people actually want to hear. The Real Me follows Mixtape Pluto, which debuted at No. 1 with 129,000 units back in 2024. If this new projection holds, Future won’t just beat his previous opening week. He’ll continue building one of the strongest commercial résumés rap has ever seen.
