NAV is still a very entertaining rapper.
Is it NAV season? B*tch, it might be. NAV is officially back with “POP MY SHIT,” a new single featuring up-and-comer Frost, and the track comes out swinging with a ridiculous amount of energy.
The production kicks off the ass-kicking session. You get trap vibes, some video game elements, and this action-packed feeling that makes the whole thing sound like a soundtrack for controlled wahala.
NAV and Frost trade bars throughout the track, bringing plenty of arrogant, violent, and finesse-heavy s**t to the table. I especially like the choppy flows both artists use because they fit the beat naturally and give the song a frantic edge.
The lyrics aren’t exactly going to make anybody reconsider their existence. Some of this s**t is straight-up braindead. But honestly, that’s not why I’m listening. “POP MY SHIT” is catchy, energetic, and fun, and that’s all I need on a Friday night like this one. I enjoyed this one and would definitely run it back.
