You already know what this track sounds like…
BossMan Dlow continues his impressive run with “Intro,” another track where the Florida rapper does what he does best: talks money, talks his s**t, and floats over a beat like he has nowhere else to be. At this point, Dlow has built such a recognizable lane that you pretty much know what you’re getting before the beat even drops.
And yep, the production is exactly what you’d expect. “Intro” features a ton of bass mixed with an uneasy trap feel that gives Dlow his usual playground. I’m convinced we may never hear him rap over something other than this type of production, and that’s OK.
Lyrically, he’s on his usual s**t, rapping about living like he has a trillion dollars and being a bigger player than Donovan Clingan. There’s no urgency in his delivery whatsoever. He sounds completely unbothered, gliding through his bars while practically keeping the beat on a leash.
The track isn’t anything groundbreaking, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing. Dlow has remained active throughout 2026, building on his breakout with “Get In With Me” and following it with songs like “Motion Party” and its remix with Megan Thee Stallion.
“Intro” simply gives listeners more of what they already like about BossMan Dlow. He knows his formula, and right now, he has no reason to abandon it.
