PARTYNEXTDOOR Celebrates P3’s 10th Anniversary With Three New Songs

This might be PARTYNEXTDOOR’s magnum opus.

PARTYNEXTDOOR has decided to make us all relive one of his best projects ever, P3, by releasing a 10-year-anniversary edition of the album. Now, you get all of the hits from it, including my personal favorites “Not Nice,” “Only U,” and the fantastic “Come And See Me,” along with three bonus tracks, “Some Of Your Love,” “Routine Rouge,” and “You Made It.” Given his ability to set the mood (and deliver lyrics that are occasionally demonic), I can see this project being needed on several different occasions throughout the week.

We reviewed this project back in the day on our old site that got confiscated by the feds, but if I recall, I gave it a C+. I thought PARTYNEXTDOOR showed some serious range, but unfortunately it felt a little bloated. Since then, it’s grown on me, and listening back to some of the tracks, it’s definitely a classic performance by PND that I appreciate more now that he only comes out once in a blue moon. Is it his best work? No. But it’s a good reminder of his prime.
