JAY-Z is clearly about to drop a new album.

JAY-Z fans will have an opportunity to celebrate the legendary rapper’s catalog together during a special virtual listening party on Thursday, September 3.

The JAY-Z30 Virtual Listening Party will begin at 2 p.m. ET, which is 7 p.m. BST for listeners in the United Kingdom. Fans can participate through JAYZ30.com. The online event will also include a vinyl test-pressing giveaway, giving one lucky supporter an opportunity to secure an extremely rare collector’s item.

Although the announcement confirms the listening party and giveaway, it does not reveal exactly which album or collection of songs will be played. Wouldn’t I be surprised if he premiered a whole album? Yes. Will I be surprised if he premieres a new single or freestyle? Nope.

JAY-Z30 was launched by Roc Nation as a year-long celebration of the 30th anniversary of JAY-Z’s classic debut album, Reasonable Doubt. The campaign also recognizes the 25th anniversary of The Blueprint, which arrived in September 2001.

So far, JAY-Z30 has featured immersive experiences, archival material, commemorative merchandise, vinyl releases, and cultural activations across New York City. Whether Thursday’s event focuses on Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint, or some new music, it should be a memorable experience for fans.
