More Yeat is coming soon...
Yeat is turning one of the busiest stretches of his year into a new release. Tomorrow, he will deliver COCOON, a five-song pack composed entirely of music he recorded while traveling. Announcing the collection through Instagram, Yeat called it a “luh 5 pack” made on the road and assured fans that every track would be new.
Although COCOON is connected to the larger era he has recently teased, listeners should not expect a complete album. The project is being presented as a five-pack, placing it somewhere between a compact EP and an appetizer for whatever Yeat plans to serve next.
The release arrives as his name dominates several conversations. Yeat was initially featured on Young Thug’s “Eaters” with Travis Scott and Future, but his verse disappeared from the updated version. Rumors blamed an ultimatum from another collaborator, though those claims remain unconfirmed.
Soon afterward, Yeat released “On Nothing,” an aggressive track seemingly aimed at Travis through repeated references to “Flame.” Travis has not publicly responded, leaving fans to debate whether the tension represents a legitimate feud or one-sided frustration.
Yeat also received a significant co-sign when unreleased music featuring him appeared during Drake’s Fear of Missing Out.
Now he has five fresh opportunities to control the narrative. COCOON may be short, but considering Yeat’s week, it will probably produce plenty for listeners to discuss.
