Quavo Teases New Migos Album for January 2027 With Unheard Takeoff Material

Quavo says the group’s next album is nearly ready and points to January as a possible release date.

A new Migos album may be closer than fans expected.

During an appearance on The Baller Alert Show, Quavo said he and Offset are nearly ready to turn in the project. He pointed to January, the anniversary month he associates with Migos, as a possible time for its arrival. “We almost ready to turn it in too,” he said, adding that fans “might get something” in January. Quavo also said listeners will hear previously unreleased material from Takeoff. (Baller Alert)

That last detail carries the most weight. Quavo has made it clear that, to him, Migos remains a group of three. He and Offset can make new music together, but Takeoff is part of the group’s identity. The chance to hear his voice on another Migos project gives this release meaning beyond a typical comeback announcement.

Still, January 2027 is a possibility, not a confirmed release date. There is no announced title or tracklist, and Quavo has not said how much unheard Takeoff material fans should expect. The good news is that both are working on upcoming projects, so you’ll hear from them in some form.

Long live the guys who created the dab.
