A radiant pop tune that’s undeniably romantic.
Somerset singer-songwriter Ben Francis wrote his first song when he was ten, and that long-standing love for music still comes through in his work. His latest release, the four-track pop EP Days Like These, closes with “Everything’s Alright.”
On Instagram, the artist said, “Four songs. One summer.” He adds, “I didn’t really set out to make an EP. These songs just seemed to find each other along the way. Songs about friendship, summer nights, strangers, falling in love and those moments you wish you could hold onto a little longer. So it felt right to put them all in one place.”
Delivering a grin-inducing blend of melodic guitar, cheery snaps, and warm beats, “Everything’s Alright” creates a feel-good backdrop that is as bright as a ray of sunshine. Lyrics like “If I could rule the world / Not a thing would stay the same / But the way I feel for you” share a heartfelt message of unbreakable devotion to the special someone who gives you the strength to keep going.
Fueled by its uplifting, sun-soaked instrumentals and an ultra-sweet narrative that’s sure to tug at your heart, Ben Francis gifts us with a radiant pop tune that’s undeniably romantic. So press play, crank up the volume, and remember that when the person you love most is by your side, “Everything’s Alright.”
