Vory Pairs Wounded Vocals and Dark Production on “Sin City”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Vory makes situationships sound cool.

Vory is in the kitchen cheffing his ass off right now. After dropping the 10-track EP DONDADA about two months ago, he’s preparing another project, EROS 3.0 FALLOUT. “Sin City” gives us our first taste of what he’s cooking.

The production is dark and borderline haunting. I’m picturing empty alleys and dudes in big-ass trench coats whose faces you can’t see until you’re already standing way too close.

Vory delivers a passionate vocal performance with some punchy moments, but mostly, you hear him bleeding through the melodies. He sings about living fast with someone he isn’t sure can keep up, bringing uncertainty into a lifestyle that already sounds complicated. His voice fits the backdrop beautifully, making that tension easy to feel.

All in all, “Sin City” makes me want to be rich as hell in Vegas, looking for situationships I’ll probably regret by checkout. That might not be responsible, but the track definitely sells the atmosphere. I’m interested in hearing more.
