Boogie’s time being a little-known rapper in the game should come to an end tonight. With the release of “Everything’s For Sale,” not only do I expect to hear high praise from hip-hop fans once they listen to his highly intelligent bars, but I also expect a Wikipedia page to finally be put up for him. It’s hard to believe that Future has been relevant in the hip-hop game for ten years now. To put that in perspective, he’s had longer career success than Tupac, Biggie, Nelly and Ludacris. Sometimes, the best championship celebrations are the ones in which you had to endure a bunch of s**t to get to where you needed to get to. In Meek Mill’s case, he’s practically seen it all up into this point: We’re talking romantic relationships with pop’s elite, jail-time, deadly beefs, and money so tall, all the b*tches wanna fall! This is one of the many reasons I think his new Championships album could end up being one of the most intriguing releases this year. (more…)
