Gorillaz – Hallelujah Money (Review & Stream)

The Gorillas are back after a six year hiatus, and thankfully they have remained just as weird as they ever been.

This is a very scary/artistic video by the group – First off, the dude that’s in the forefront looks like Satan from ‘Tales from the Hood’; lastly, the visuals that’s playing in the background looks like that video that killed people in ‘The Ring’.

The song is quite interesting: The production has this whirlwind sound associated to it that makes it feel like the beat is about to start over and over again. The singing is off beat, giving it this eerie vibe that really good gothic songs usually give you.
