Yung Rvck$ is an up and coming rapper from Washington Heights, NY that can spit fire for days! You don’t believe me? Listen to this freestyle he does to the popular ‘Mask Off’ beat.
Future isn’t very lyrical on this song, so hearing someone that actually got bars rap over this beat will always catch my attention; insert Yung Rvck$.
When it comes to MC’ing, Yung Rvck$ does everything you want your MC to do well on this freestyle: Good flow (Especially his change of pace), good energy, and very clever wordplay. Content-wise, I like how he was able to shout out his day 1’s, but at the same time boast about his rap skills; it shows a good balance of humility and flossin’ that I think is dope.
This is definitely one of the better ‘Mask Off’ freestyles I’ve heard to date.
