Listen, say what you want about Swae Lee, but as a listener, you have to appreciate his heavenly voice. On hip-hop tracks, it makes for something special, and in R&B ones, it makes for something unique. However, when it comes to Christmas carols and s**t, I think his voice fits in perfectly. With that being said, “Christmas At Swae’s” is one of those authentic Christmas-sounding tracks that has him singing about finding a love that is perfect for the holiday season. The instrumental he sings over is special, featuring this piano-heavy sound that is hard to ignore. Vocally, Swae navigates through the song giving us nothing but daring crooning, literally sounding like an angel that touched down on earth yesterday.
Christmas at Swae’s will probably have white socks, ham-hocks and dread residue.
