Rey Ant Sings His Heart Out On “My Girl”

MY GIRL

Rey Ant

OVERALL RATING (??)

Rey Ant is in love, and there’s nothing the Coronavirus can do about it!

Rey Ant is a singer/songwriter from Georgia that is beyond fearless. When he sings, not only does he give it his all, but he also harmonizes like his life depends on it. “My Girl,” Rey’s latest offering, is a song that you can tell is dear to his heart because, on it, he sounds like he’s on the verge of tears.

“My Girl” features an instrumental that is smoother than The Fonz. As for Rey Ant, he hits us with colorful melodies, intimate lyrics, and harmonies that are beyond daring on the song. Does he put up a vocal performance that is Luther Vandross-Esque? No, but he does prove that there is nothing wrong with showing the world that you love someone insurmountably.
