Rick Ross Returns With “Pinned To The Cross”

PINNED TO THE CROSS

Rick Ross

OVERALL RATING (????????)

When Rozay speaks, I listen!

Last night, Rick Ross and 2 Chainz battled each other on Verzuz. This morning, both rappers dropped new songs. While 2 Chainz’s song pays homage to black colleges, Rick Ross’ song, “Pinned To The Cross,” focuses on black empowerment.

People forget how good of a rapper Rick Ross is. When he wants to, he can drop bars that are thought-provoking and clever. With that being said, on “Pinned To The Cross,” I love how he bluntly lets the world know that he doesn’t f**k with Terry Crews, that he’s watching out for Karens, and that he is focused on dodging those that are wishing on his downfall. As usual, you’re going to love how the self-proclaimed boss hurls out his bars on the song with ease.
