RGM RATING (????????)

Oh s**t, Migos are back and ready to grab a few rap nerds by the collar!

People forget how big Migos once was. Just 3-4 years ago, their albums were going platinum, they were being asked to show up on television shows that they had no business being on, and they even had f**king potato chips named after them! Today, the trio decided to return to the music scene with “Striaghtenin,” a track that indicates that they are ready to snatch the crown off of your favorite rapper’s head.

“Straightenin” is your typical Migos song that features some impeccable fluting, a Quavo hook that is simple but catchy as f**k, and flows that sound like they were made during a game of Whack-A-Mole. What I do find interesting about the song is that it almost feels like each member in the group made it a mission to remind the world how trappish, black-ish, rich, violent, authentic, and confrontational they are (It’s like a cliff notes of the group).

2021 is starting to heat up music-wise, folks!
