Elliot Lee

RGM RATING (??????????)

A chilling dark pop journey filled with fiery fusion and screaming bloodlust.

Brooklyn-based alternative music artist Elliot Lee mixes dark pop melodies, edgy vocals, and electronic-rock soundscapes for a unique signature sound that stands out miles from the rest. Her music is meant to defy conventional norms and represents the unseen, as a reminder that no one is alone. Her latest release is the head-turning single “Rubies” and its accompanying music video that’s truly a wild experience.

This track fuses a mixture of punk rock, electro, rap, and dark pop, as Lee’s storyline recalls the struggle of fitting in and the pain of being lonely. As enjoyable as it is listening to the track, Lee’s music video is a much better way to journey through her chaotic world of chilling darkness. There are glittery red coffins, a crown, and smiles dripping with blood; the visuals are definitely the way to go with this one if you want to feed your inner Queen of the Damned. In “Rubies,” Elliot Lee is somehow both adorable and terrifying, and it’s absolutely fantastic.
