Damn, I can’t believe that Rod Wave is sad even during the holiday season.
Rod Wave’s music makes me want to cry tears of joy. The pain, the soul, and the churchiness in his voice always gets to me. Today, Rod decided to drop “By Your Side,” yet another track in which he pours his heart out like it was milk.

Man, I cried like Dennis Rodman on Oprah listening to “By Your Side” (That’s a Steve Harvey joke). The song features an emotional trap beat, heartwarming content, intoxicating melodies, and powerful vocals. I swear, whenever Rod sings passionately about becoming a hero for both his hood and family, I get chills.
