You do not know 2000s New York rap if you don’t know who Maino and Jim Jones are. Though they aren’t quite household names, they are names that have made their mark on the New York hip-hop scene musically and culturally. Recently, the two rappers decided to drop a collaborative effort called Lobby Boyz.
You gotta love east coast hip-hop to enjoy this album. Nearly every song on Lobby Boyz will give you flashbacks to New York hip-hop’s heyday. As a kid that grew up on Puff Daddy and the Family, I loved every single track!
