Pharrell, 21 Savage & Tyler, The Creator Unite For “Cash In Cash Out”

Cash In Cash Out

Pharrell (Ft. Tyler, The Creator & 21 Savage)

This might be the greatest trio since Alvin & The Chipmunks.

I just checked my calendar and it didn’t say that today is Christmas… So, why is today the lucky day that we get a collaboration between Pharrell, Tyler, The Creator & 21 Savage? Whatever the case may be, “Cash In Cash Out” lives up to expectations.

Ninjas rap hard as s**t in “Cash In Cash Out.” Over a Pharrell beat that is both bizarre and hard as f**k, 21 Savage and Tyler, The Creator trade crafty, aggressive, and braggadocios verses. As expected, the former comes across as a sly killer, while the latter comes across as a maniac that either eats babies or is the ringleader of a traphouse. When you combine the two styles together, you get the best version of a hip-hop mind f**k. BTW, unfortunately, you don’t hear Pharrell in this song at all (Unless he’s the one making the sound effects on the beat).

How much do you want to bet that 21 Savage skipped out on the post-studio-session happy hour for this song (I just feel like he would be interested in hanging out with a different crowd, no?)?
