Tomsy Is Making “Night Moves”

Night Moves

Tomsy

A pop tune that captures the thrills of a passionate night.

Los Angeles-based musical creative, Tomsy, is also known as Tom McGeoch. Tomsy is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer. This Columbus, Ohio native has been playing the drums in pop-punk bands since he was just eleven years old. After graduating from Berklee College of Music, Tomsy moved to LA to pursue a career in music. Since then, he’s released a continuous stream of great songs. Tomsy’s unique sound is influenced by artists such as The Story So Far, 070 Shake, Radiohead, The Weeknd, and James Blake. His discography is available on Spotify, YouTube, and Apple Music. Tomsy’s latest drop is the pop single “Night Moves.”

This is a pop hit wrapped into a decade-old sound. While named similarly to a hit from the 70s, it could fit perfectly alongside Katy Perry or Ke$ha’s music in a 2010s nostalgia playlist. “Night Moves” is spirited and enthusiastic, all based on a single passion-filled evening. Lyrics like “Let’s just live in the moment / You’re just my type and you know it” and “We can just keep holding onto the feeling / Burning bright, moving tonight” reflect on a spontaneous night with a stranger. Despite them being almost completely unknown, he clearly can’t get the person out of his head. Soon enough, we may be inspired by this song as part of a playlist for our unforgettable night. So, press play below to let some sensual magic “Night Moves” sweep you off your feet.
