Yeah, I’m not sure I would want to beef with someone this crazy…
We have a rebel in the hip-hop game, and his name is Nine Vicious. Over the past few weeks, he has taken aim at YSL, YVL, LAZER DIM 700, and probably others. On his single, “Over N Over,” he goes for the necks of anyone he feels are his opps.
“Over N Over” features high-octane trap production with sinister details that give the song the atmosphere of an ’80s horror movie. Nine Vicious meets that chaos with an unchained, aggressive performance, sounding like he recorded the track in the middle of getting an exorcism done on himself.
Lyrically, he talks about crashing out just because he can, in addition to other incoherent s**t that I’m going to need a certified YN scholar to decipher.
There might be a catchy chorus hidden inside “Over N Over,” but that’s about it. Unfortunately, nearly everything surrounding it feels too untamed to enjoy. That brother might need some holy water splashed on him.
Quincy is the creator of Ratings Game Music. He loves writing about music, taking long walks on beaches, and spaghetti that fights him back.
