Tee Grizzley & Future Unite For “Swear To God”

Rating: 4 out of 5.

Future finessed the f**k out of us. A couple of days ago, he Tweeted, “f**k your album, s**t ain’t slappin like my mixtapes.” Everyone thought that was a shot at Gunna, who was set to release an album. Everyone also thought Future was prepping to release a new mixtape. Boy, were we wrong about at least the latter. What we did get from Future is a new collaboration single he did with Tee Grizzley called “Swear To God.” I don’t think s**t is enough, but beggars can’t be choosers.

Future actually starts this song off with the same exact mixtape comment he made on Twitter. From there, he talks about robbing rappers, being the hustler of the century, and buying b*tches expensive s**t. As for Tee Grizzley, he takes the baton from Future and practically says the same s**t, adding lyrics about his watch, haters, and mob mentality.

As expected, you get FUTURE and not HENDRIX on this s**t, which means he raps with a style that won’t make Christians smile. He does deliver a very infectious melody, though. As for Tee Grizzley, I love the diabolical tone and choppy flow he raps with. All in all, this is a really good collaboration track.

Who actually believed we would be getting a new mixtape from Future today? (B*tch, put your hand down)
