Russ Drops “BREAK!”

We want our musicians to be slaves sometimes.

If anyone needs a break, it’s definitely Russ. For the last two or three years, he’s been relentlessly releasing music; I’m talking about every other week, he’s dropping something new. In 2024 alone, Russ has already dropped over eight tracks.

Unfortunately for him, but fortunately for us, Russ is still grinding. On Friday, he dropped a new track called “BREAK!”

In “BREAK!” Russ dives into his relentless work ethic, emphasizing his mentality of pushing through exhaustion because of the weight of his responsibilities, especially as the head of his family. The track is powered by a beat that feels like something out of a ratchet opera—intense and theatrical. As for Russ, he delivers his raps with a slyness that is noteworthy, given he’s actually complaining. All in all, the hook is catchy, and the realness in the lyrics is what makes this track stand out.

If Russ wants to continue watching YouTube with no ads, he needs to continue working his ass off.
