Consequence, Rick Ross, Ghostface Killah, Jim Jones & 38 Spesh Unite For “Blood Stain III”

Rating: 4.5 out of 5.

Mr. Officer, one of these old heads stole my wallet.

Consequence has orchestrated one of the most underappreciated comebacks in hip-hop history. This year, he returned triumphantly with the album Nice Doing Business With You, marking his first full-length project in 13 years—a remarkable gap since his 2011 release.

Despite the long hiatus, Consequence proves he’s still a lyrical heavyweight, effortlessly delivering sharp, thought-provoking bars throughout the project. For those who might have doubted the strength of his comeback, his latest track, “Blood Stain III,” will kick your ass.

“Blood Stain” is driven by one of Kanye West’s most impressive beats of the decade. The production is the highlight. However, the contributions from the featured artists elevate the song to another level.

The opening features a young voice hyping the audience, setting an electrifying tone. Ghostface Killah delivers a raw, commanding verse, demanding respect while reflecting on gritty street life and high-end experiences. Rick Ross follows with a smooth yet ominous verse, blending polished flows with sharp threats and a nod to Biggie’s legacy.

Consequence handles the chorus with a catchy hook that ties the track together, while Jim Jones brings a calm yet vivid recounting of his bold lifestyle in one of his standout verses. 38 Spesh offers a raw, streetwise verse that feels authentic and grounded, adding a gritty edge. Finally, Consequence closes the track with a reflective verse, discussing loyalty, trust, and authenticity.

Every artist contributes their best, but it’s Kanye’s beat that steals the show, creating an unforgettable backdrop for the lyrical excellence. “Blood Stain” is a masterclass in collaboration.

Check out the excellent “Blood Stain III.”
