Mariah is back with a new single.

“Type Dangerous” is a bumping blend of hip-hop and R&B that brings serious old-school flavor with a modern twist. Mariah delivers a confident anthem about the kind of man she’s into—and how she expects to be treated. She’s drawn to someone bold, fearless, and a little dangerous, someone who lives on the edge and isn’t afraid to break the rules.

The beat hits hard, channeling the energy of late ’90s and early 2000s club mixes. It’s loud, rhythmic, and impossible not to move to. Mariah’s playful, flirtatious vocals float effortlessly over the beat, adding a layer of lightness and charm to the track’s otherwise sultry tone. There’s a fun contrast between the sensual lyrics and her carefree delivery that makes this song feel empowering and effortlessly cool.

This one’s made for turning up the volume and letting loose.
