Cardi B’s “AM I THE DRAMA?” Holds Strong at No. 3 in Second Week with 80K Units

The more drama for Cardi B, the better she sells.

Cardi B’s AM I THE DRAMA? is still holding strong on the charts. According to Hits Daily Double, the album is projected to land at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 in its second week, with around 80,000 units sold. That’s coming right after a massive No. 1 debut last week, where she moved 200,000 units. The drop is expected, but the fact that she’s still near the top says a lot about the staying power of this project.

Second weeks are usually rough in the streaming era—people check out an album once and move on. Cardi’s numbers suggest the opposite. Fans are running this one back, with tracks like “Pretty & Petty” and “Safe” leading the way in streams. That kind of replay value is exactly what you want when you’re trying to prove you belong at the top.

Of course, the album isn’t the only thing keeping Cardi’s name buzzing. She’s been in the spotlight for very public feuds with JT, Nicki Minaj, and even Offset. Add in the announcement of her pregnancy with Stefon Diggs, and it feels like the headlines are feeding into the music, or maybe the other way around.

Bottom line: the numbers don’t lie. Cardi B is two weeks in, still dominating conversations and charts, and she’s done it with good music and drama.
